This Social Media Calendar gives information to the Wikimedians, taking care of social media and blogs of their respective communities, user groups and chapters, about important topics and days in the region, about which awareness should be raised. Until now the media teams from the region could see that a certain day was important about a neighbouring community after that community posted some news and appeals online. By looking at this calendar the social media teams will be able to plan their activities in advance.

Please, add the days for which your community wants to raise awareness, by linking to an article on a wiki, so that the media people can have a starting point.
