Wikimedia Community User Group Côte d’Ivoire

Recommendation n°2015/01 concerning the quantitative and qualitative strengthening of the contributions
from Côte d'Ivoire wikimedians on Wikimedia platforms

Whereas :

1. The important work performed in synergy with the 2 wikipedians in Community from Kumusha Takes Wiki project, 25 active members of the User Group and 450 sympathizers of Wikimedia movement in Côte d'Ivoire;
2. The results obtained thanks to everyone, in particular the acknowledgment of Wikimedia Community User Group Côte d'Ivoire (WCUG-CI) by WMF on 28th November 2014;
3. The general vision of the Chairman of Wikimedia Community User Group Côte d'Ivoire targetting a wikimedia community even stronger regarding the institutional as well as the training aspect;

Recommends :

Quantitative and qualitative strengthening of contributions from Côte d'Ivoire wikimedians on wikis by any means and in particular by: (a) carrying on  during 2015 period training sessions in WikiWorkshop and Quality Challenge; (b) an improvement of welcoming process reserved for new members User Group; (c) a deeper interactivity of the active members; and (d) a strengthening of collaboration of WCUG-CI with Kumusha Takes Wiki and Open Street Map projects.
