Wikipedia basic workshop

I got there at 10, remained until 1:15, and was in room 310 for the entire program. During this class, I was given guidance on writing English-language pieces on Sentosa. As a result of attending this session, I now have the tools necessary to create articles in Bajau Samah and the knowledge to translate articles from other languages into Bajau Samah for usage on Wikipedia Incubator.

Wikipedia commons basic workshop

Room 310 was where I spent the hours between 2:15 and 4:25 p.m. for this course. In this course, I learned a lot of useful information, such as how to properly describe uploaded photos, set up appropriate categories, research relevant rules, and more.

Wikimania 2023 openin recepion & wikimedian of the year

I attended the evening opening ceremony, which took place in the plenary hall from 5:00 to 6:25. The Wikimedian of the Year will be revealed during this meeting. The Wikimedian who has contributed the most during the past year will be awarded this prize. People really like seeing us dressed in our Bajau Samah traditional attire for this event

Wiki loves livin heriae bazaar

This gathering occurred at the Plenary Hall between 10:40 and 11 in the morning. This session's emphasis was intended to be on promoting Singaporean culture and the country's future heritage development policy.

How to edit 'AMIWIKI'

This meeting will take place between 12:25 and 12:45 p.m. in room 3.25. The Paiwan language was mentioned by the Taiwanese presenters. As a result of government policies that discourage its use, the Paiwan language—one of Taiwan’s minority languages—is on the verge of extinction. Traditional music and dances were also performed before the assembly broke up.

Wikimania 2023 global group photo

The evening Global Group Photo was taken in the Plenary Hall between 4:45 and 5:00 p.m. During this time, I was able to meet and take pictures with Wikimedians from all around the world.

Inauguration of wiki kent club

This meeting, held from 9 to 10 a.m., will officially inaugurate the Wiki Kent Club. the KENT Campus Teacher Education Institute Director officiated at the inaugural meeting of the Wiki Kent Club.

Sazau by wikeint and manuk lembukun dances from borneo

During this session, three of us from Bajau Samah Community and eight others from IPG KENT Campus got to perform four different sorts of traditional dances for the other Wikimania attendees. The Plenary Hall will be the site of a meeting from 1:40 to 1:55. We may proudly don our native garb and dance the night away with our fellow Wikimedians during the annual Manuk Lembukun Dance session.

Rebranding wikimedia wikimedia for cosplay and ac world

From 1:55 to 2:10 p.m., Mr. Dody Ismoyo, President of Wikimedia Malaysia, will lead another session in the Plenary Hall. He discussed his repeated participation in Wikimedia initiatives that dealt with the topic of "Cosplay." He also shared his enthusiasm for the Wikimedia projects dedicated to his favorite hobby, cosplay.

Wikimania 2023 dinner and dance

Dinner and dancing in Gardens by the Bay capped off the final evening. It was the final dinner for the Wikimania 2023 attendees. We went to the Singapore 58th Birthday Flower Show. We then carried on the dance party at the event location, where we met and became friends with other Wikimedians.

Plans after the conference (from what was learned or contributed in the conference)

• Continue to make edits and contributions to the various Wikimedia projects, such as Wiktionary, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikimedia Incubator. Particularly with regard to my own tongue, the Bajau Sama language.
• The documentation of the Bajau Samah language and culture should be a primary focus of Wikimedia initiatives.
• I shall make an effort to investigate possible avenues of collaboration with the Wikimedia community as a whole.
• I am willing to impart the wisdom that I have gained from attending the conference to other others.
• Spread information about the many Wikimedia projects to more people and encourage newcomers to participate.

Comments/ suggestions about the conference

It is the best event I have ever been a part of, and if I could make one recommendation, it would be that the number of people who take part in future events be increased. I would really want to have a better sense of the variety of people who are a member of our group, and this particular type of event is carrying out its duties quite effectively.
