Format of Attendance of Wikimania 2022.

I attended Wikimania both virtually via pheedloop and in-person between the period of 11th to 14th of August.The in-person event which was organized by the Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda took place on the 12th of August 2022.

Accountability of the scholarship funds.

I spent the scholarship funds on mobile data,transport used to attend the in-person event.

Session 1:[Writing Women into Wiki History,Experiences and Best Practices]

It being my first Wikimania,i learnt about the various projects that were established by different Wikimedians in a bid to close the information gap between men and women on Wikipedia.This inspired me to engage in projects inline with this movement for example Wiki gap.

Session 2:[The Grand Tour of Wikimedia]

This session dealt with the idea of introducing a travel program where different Wikimedians can visit other Wikimedians in the different parts of the world as a way of promoting partnerships,collaborations and unity as Wikimedians.

I liked the fact that we were given an opportunity to engage in the planning process of this wonderful idea through writing our opinions in the notes section.

Session 3:[Wikimedian of the Year(2022)]

This was the most amazing session of all sessions that I managed to attend! From the amazing performances by the Wikimedia Communities of Indonesia and Palestine to the awarding of most outstanding Wikimedians of the year.

I got to learn that you can contribute to Wikipedia in many ways and that Wikipedia is for everyone by everyone.This session inspired me to engage actively in this great movement.

Connecting with other Wikimedians during Wikimania 2022.

I didn't not connect that much virtually during Wikimania 2022 but I managed to meet many Wikimedians from the Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda who were so welcoming and encouraging and I'm hoping to engage with them as much as I can.
