- How did you attend Wikimania (virtually or in-person)?
I attended both virtually(via pheedloop, youtube, zoom and other platforms) and physically in Kampala, Uganda.
- What did you spend the scholarship funds on?
I spent the funds on buying mobile data, getting refreshments and transporting myself to the venue for the physical event.
- Takeaways – choose 3 specific Wikimania sessions you attended and describe your key take-aways per session.
- In the cyber security basics session, I learnt what a secure password is and how to safeguard myself against different attacks that can be performed online.
- In the Art for Good session, I learnt how art and photography form wikimedia can be used to change the mental status of different people that are in danger of harming themselves mainly through committing suicide.
- In the Wiki Functions session, I go an understanding of what the team is introducing, how to use functions and how important they are to me. I also learnt how to use functions.
- How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?
I mainly connected at the physical event in Kampala, Uganda where I met many other wikimedians who were so welcoming and made the day full of smiles.
