Wikimedia Japan-Malaysia Friendship
Wikimedia Japan-Malaysia Friendship is a project organized by Wikimedians who are active in the Malaysian or Japanese Wikimedia community. This project aims to enrich Wikimedia contents about Malaysia or Japan and strengthen the collaboration between the two communities.
Before the launch
Malaysian Wikimedian Taufik Rosman (Tofeiku) and Japanese Wikimedian Eugene Ormandy met at Wikimania 2023 and hit it off. After the event, on September 1, they launched this project.
Vision
- Enriching Wikimedia contents about Malaysia or Japan;
- Strengthening the collaboration between two communities
