An editathon about Tunisian and African cinema on November 6th 2018 during the Carthage Film Festival!
We want to participate in the 2018 Carthage Film Festival in Tunis, as there is more content needed concerning Tunisian and African cinema on Wikipedia.
What is the Carthage Film Festival?
Carthage Film Festival is a film festival that takes place in Tunis. Founded in 1966, it is to date the oldest event of its kind still active in Africa. The festival has been designed as a film festival engaged in the cause of African and Arab countries and enhancing the South cinema in general.
What will we do at the editathon?
We think that Wikipedia needs more and better content on Tunisian and African cinema. Participants are also welcome to take photographs of personalities attending the Carthage Film Festival to later publish them on Wikimedia Commons.
How, when and where?
The editathon will be held in Dar El Harka in the medina of Tunis, on November 6th. Dar El Harka is a co-working space and cultural hub which is open to all kinds of cultural, creative and artistic activities. Participants who will attend have to register through this online form as we have a limited number of seats. Yet, everyone is welcome to join remotely by adding their name in the Participants section.
