January
- January 25: Watch Party for the public domain in the city of Guacara sponsored by the Universidad Tecnológica del Centro. WMVE participated as an external collaborator in the organization of the event.
April
- April 22: Informal meeting of members, online. Topics related to the future of the organization and the expectations that members had about future activities and their development due to the situation of the country were discussed.
May
- August 15th: Online session about "Myths and truths about Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Andrés Bello Catholic University
- 2 May: Edit-to-thon global by the 20° anniversary of the free encyclopaedia of Internet: Wikipedia in Spanish.
- 24 May: interview to Oscar Coastal in the frame of the closing of the first edicion of the Project «Visible Culture UCAB», in alliance with the Cultural Centre UCAB and the Centre of Investigation and Humanistic Training (CIFH) of the UCAB.
August
- 5 August: Segundo edit-to-thon Wiki'Kepein, in Paraguaipoa (ZU) in collaboration with the Foundation KARISMA and the Centre ISUR beside Wikimedia Venezuela
- April 25th: Wikipedia virtual editing workshop in Wayuunaiki
September
- 23 September: #SuenaWiki 3.1: Relaunching of SuenaWiki of hands of Wikimedia Small Projects in collaboration with Wikimedia Venezuela.
- 30 September: 2it gives. Informal meeting of partners, on-line. They treated commonplaces related with the organizacion of the IX Assembly of Partners and the preocupacion by the lack of face-to-face activities and the impact to future in our organisation.
October
- 18 October: #SuenaWiki 3.2: «we Speak of Wikiviajes and Wikinoticias!»: We will speak of two projects brothers of Wikipedia: Wikiviajes and Wikinoticias. For this explain again with Galahad, General Coordinator of Wikimedia Small Projects.
- 18 October: #SuenaWiki 3.3: «Human rights and Wikimedia» : In the frame of the veto of the Chinese Popular Republic to the application of the Foundation Wikimedia to be observant of the International Organisation of the for the second time consecutive Copyright, interview to Sofia Marquina, National Coordinator of Operations of Young Network Venezuela.
- 28 October: #SuenaWiki 3.4: «Anniversary of Wikimedia Venezuela»: On 28 October 2011, the Committee of Memberships recognised to Wikimedia Venezuela like official chapter of the Foundation Wikimedia. Ten years afterwards follows working to carry the mission and vision of the movement Wikimedia through the Venezuelan territory. SuenaWiki Has interviewed to three important personalities that donaron his time and will to do all this possible.
November
- 13 de noviembre: Tras la experiencia de la celebración del 20.º aniversario de Wikipedia en español surgió la propuesta de organizar con regularidad este tipo de encuentros, más enfocados en el aspecto social de la comunidad. En esa línea se planteó «Revuelto de platos», un espacio social de encuentro entre aquellas personas que participan en los proyectos Wikimedia. En esta ocasión el hilo conductor fue la gastronomía y además contó con un espacio de juegos para conocernos más, y compartir curiosidades del universo Wikimedia.
- 13 -14 de noviembre: Se llevó a cabo la IX Asamblea General de Wikimedia Venezuela A.C. donde se eligió una nueva Junta Directiva para dirigir el capítulo durante los próximos cinco años:
- President: Ybsen M. Lucero
- Vice-president: Carlos Mora
- Secretary: Jin Kadaba
- Treasurer: Lourdes Herrera
- Spokesperson: Santiago De Viana
- Por obvias razones para esta Asamblea, nos reunimos vía online.
- 16 de noviembre: #SuenaWiki 3.5: «Premios Allie»: Wikimedia Small Projects reconoce el aporte de cada voluntario, es por eso que organiza anualmente los premios Allie; una condecoración virtual para hacerles saber que su contribución es importante. (colaboracion técnica)
- 16 de noviembre: #SuenaWiki 3.6: «Wikimedia en la educación» : El equipo de SuenaWiki entrevista al profesor José Ibarra quien nos dará su perspectiva en relación a la educación y los proyectos Wikimedia.
- 16 de noviembre: #SuenaWiki 3.7: «Proyecto de ley de reformas digitales» : Un desafío se presenta al mundo del internet. Patricia Diaz, Directora Ejecutiva de Wikimedia Chile nos habla sobre el proyecto de ley de reforma digital del senado de la República de Chile y su repercusión en el internet.
Reporte financiero
Desde 2020 y a raíz de la pandemia COVID-19 aunada a la situación económica del país, el capítulo no ha recibido financiamiento alguno. Las actividades realizadas durante esos años tampoco supusieron gastos al capítulo. Por tanto, el capítulo no tiene reportes financieros.
