Wikiconcurso de Monumentos en Wikipedia

WMCL organizó un concurso de creación de artículos sobre monumentos nacionales en Wikipedia, con el objetivo de ampliar la información sobre el patrimonio cultural de nuestro país en la enciclopedia libre, y de utilizar las imágenes que han sido subidas en las versiones 2012 y 2013 de Wiki Loves Monuments Chile, finalmente fueron creados 151 artículos nuevos sobre monumentos nacionales. Resumen/reporte:
El Tercer Encuentro Wikimedia Iberoamericano (Iberoconf 2013) fue organizado por Wikimedia México, en las dependencias de Telmex Hub en Ciudad de México. El encuentro se centró en la búsqueda de acciones concretas para organizar de mejor forma la iniciativa regional, estableciéndose un coordinador de Iberocoop, que ayudará a reforzar los lazos de cooperación entre los capítulos y a coordinar proyectos que puedan ser organizados en forma regional. Las charlas desarrolladas durante los días del encuentro, tuvieron como eje la difusión de los proyectos Wikimedia en ámbitos educativos; el uso de los recursos GLAM en los distintos capítulos y la experiencia de la organización de Wiki Loves Monuments 2013; y el intercambio de experiencias organizativas de cada capítulo.

Monuments Wiki Editing Competition in Wikipedia

WMCL organized a competition for the creation of national monuments articles in Wikipedia, with the goal of widening the information about the cultural heritage of our country in the free encyclopedia, and use the images that have been uploaded in the 2012 and 2013 Wiki Loves Monuments Chile versions, finally there were create 151 new articles about national monuments of Chile. The Third Iberoamerican Wikimedia Summit (Iberoconf 2013) was organized by Wikimedia Mexico, on the Telmex Hub building in Mexico City Hub. The meeting focused on the search for concrete actions to better organize the regional initiative, establishing an Iberocoop coordinator, which will help strengthen the bonds of cooperation between chapters and coordinate projects that can be organized on a regional basis. The presentations developed during the days of the meeting, had as an axis, the promotion of the Wikimedia projects in educational groundings; the use of GLAM resources in the various chapters and the experience of organizing Wiki Loves Monuments 2013, and the exchange of organizational experiences of each chapter.
