1 November 2019 Starosubkhangulovo, Burzyansky District, Bashkortostan In the museum of Mukhtar Sagitov in the village of Starosubkhagulovo, a meeting with the experienced Wikipedian Luisa Yuldasheva was held. She introduced the audience to Wikipedia, its successes, and answered questions. The participants of the meeting desided to hold a wiki-seminar in the near future.

8 November 2019 Ufa, Bashkortostan In the 136th Bashkir Lyceum named after M. Iskuzhin a master class on the use of Internet resources in the educational process, including Wikipedia, was held. It was organized by Ildus Sitdykow and Guzal Sitdykowa.

18 November 2019 Online The Bashkir Wikipedia hosted the first webinar on creating new elements in Wikidata and writing new articles about celebrities. It was organized and held by Rustam Nuriev.

2-6 December 2019 Burzyansky District Rashida Gizatullina, a volunteer of the Burzyan Wiki-club, held a series of wiki meetings for Wiki-grannies:
— 2 December — village of Kutanovo,
— 3 December — village of Irgizly,
— 4 December — village of Islambayevo,
— 6 December — village of Bretyak.

16 February 2020 Moscow 10th Anniversary Wiki Award Russia 2020 (by the “Wikimedia RU”).
Ansar Nuretdinov from Beloretsk made more than 16 thousand edits in the Bashkir Wikipedia in 2019, taking the second place among the editors of Russian regional WP editions.
— The “Free Knowledge” Prize was awarded to the editor-in-chief of the “Bashinform” agency, Alik Shakirov, and the news agency itself. The prize was awarded for the long-term informational support of the Wikimedia movement in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
— For the creation of many articles in the Bashkir Wikipedia (1,334 in 2019) and active popularization of the Wikimedia movement in the Burzyansky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Yuldasheva Luiza received a Special Prize.
 
10 March 2020 Starosubkhangulovo, Burzyansky District Rashida Gizatullina, Könhәlәu Qotlobaeva, and Luisa Yuldasheva held a seminar for teachers of the Starosubkhangulovo secondary school.
— 2020 has been declared as the year of the Bashkir language, so the Wiki movement has a special mission during this year;
— It was announced that from 15 March to 15 April, during the celebration of the month dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941—1945), the Bashkir Wikipedia will host a competition about veterans, as well as a photo competition.

18 March 2020 Atikovo, Burzyansky District Head of the Burzyansky Wiki-club, Könhәlәu Qotlobaeva, held a wiki-seminar in the village of Atikovo. Six new participants have appeared in the Bashkir Wikipedia.

9-10 July 2020 Online Z. EYLE, together with Farhad Fatkullin (WMRU, Wikimedia Community of Tatar language UG) and Oleg Abarnikov (Wikipedians of North Caucasus UG), took part in the Celtic Knot Conference 2020 with the presentation Wikipedias in the languages of Russia: Challenges and solutions.

18 July 2020 Online Z. EYLE took part in the online conference of Wikimedians of Turkic Languages UG. She made a report on the results of the “Turkic Marathon” in the Bashkir Wikipedia.

6 November – 15 December 2019 Participation in the “Alumni and Mentors of Russia-2019” competition. In total, 19 Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the competition. There were 10 prizes in each of the three nominations. During the competition, 572 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.

— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 1st place in the nomination in the languages of the peoples of Russia.
— User Banat Valeeva-Yaubasarova finished in 2nd place in the same nomination.

1-31 December 2019 Wikimedians of Bashkortostan UG became a co-organizer of the Russian part of the 3rd edition of Bridges across Cultures international contest (together with “Wikimedia RU” and Wikipedians of North Caucasus UG). Authors from the Bashkir Wikipedia (as well as Russian, Chechen, and Lezgi) took part in the contest.
— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 1st place in the Russian part of the contest.
— User Alfiya55 also got into the Top 5 reaching 4th place.
 
21 March – 31 May 2020 Wikimedia CEE Spring 2020 is an annual event organised by Wikimedians and Wikipedians who joined the Central and Eastern Europe collaboration.
— In the Bashkir Wikipedia, 13 users took part in the contest. The best three are Tutәyĝosh, Akkashka, and Z. EYLE.
— In total, 200 articles were created during the contest, 188 of them were accepted by the jury.
— This year, the most popular country among Bashkir authors was Austria (33 articles).
— Participants from other countries and regions (as well as WP editions) created 307 articles about Bashkortostan.
 
2-19 April 2020 TATAR 4.0 - 2020 is the contest dedicated to the creation and expanding of articles about the culture, history and science of the Tatar people. Z. EYLE was included in the jury of this contest.
— User Zlgll finished in 1st place in the “Best Editor” nomination, she developed articles about Science.
 
8 March - 8 May 2020 Participation in the “WikiGap 2020 Russia” competition. In total, nine Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the competition. There were 10 prizes in each of the four nominations. During the competition, 673 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
— User ZUFAr finished in 10th place in the nomination “Outstanding women of the world” (in Russian language).
— User Çeherbanyu finished in 5th place in the nomination “Outstanding women of Russia” (in Russian language).
— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 1st place in the nomination “Outstanding women of Russia” in the languages of the peoples of Russia.
— User Taꞑhәlәu finished in 3rd place in the same nomination.
— User Akkashka finished in 4th place in the same nomination.
— User Z. EYLE finished in 6th place in the same nomination.
— User Banat Valeeva-Yaubasarova finished in 7th place in the same nomination.
— User Zlgll finished in 4th place in the nomination of new users (articles in Russian, Bashkir and Tatar languages).
— User Il-Gil finished in 6th place in the same nomination (articles in Russian and Bashkir languages).
 
12 June - 12 July 2020 Wikimedians of Bashkortostan UG became co-organizers of the Wiki Loves Football All-Russian article competition related to the UEFA European Championship and CONMEBOL Copa América, which were originally supposed to be held in 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic rescheduled to 2021. The competition was organized by a journalist and editor of the Bashkir Wikipedia Z. EYLE and founder of the Wikipedians of North Caucasus UG, editor and translator Oleg Abarnikov (Soul Train), who was also the administrator of the Bashkir Wikipedia in 2016–2020. The main goals of this competition are to express our solidarity with the football community, as well as to fill in the gaps related to football topics — this is especially true for regional Wikipedia editions in the languages of the peoples of Russia. Different Russian Wikipedia editions were divided into four groups that fought for virtual medals in two thematic nominations. Bashkir Wikipedia won gold medals in both nominations. In total, six Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the competition.
 
1-30 June 2020 Participation in the Turkic Marathon 2020. 14 editors took part in the Bashkir part of the contest. During the competition, 205 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
Prize winners were Akkashka, Tutәyĝosh, Yuldasheva Luiza, Guram52, and Xayat Yosopova1.
 
1-30 June 2020 The Core of the Encyclopedia is a contest for the creation and expanding articles from the Great Soviet and Great Russian Encyclopedias. It was organized for the first time by “Wikimedia RU”.
— During the competition, 995 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
— Bashkir editors created 495 articles in the Tatar Wikipedia.
— Bashkir Wikipedians (with articles in both Bashkir and Tatar languages) took first 7 places in the nomination in languages of Russia.
— User Sherbn created 151 articles in the Russian Wikipedia (1st place in the nomination).
— In total, 14 Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the contest.
 
20 August — 10 October 2020 Participation in the “Alumni and Mentors of Russia-2020” competition. During the competition, 400 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia. Below are the preliminary results:
— User ZUFAr finished in 1st place in the nomination in the languages of the peoples of Russia.
— User Tutәyĝosh finished in 3rd place in the same nomination.
— User Baçqort xokkeyә finished in 4th place in the same nomination.
— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 7th place in the same nomination (with articles in Bashkir and Tatar languages).
— User Taꞑhәlәu finished in 8th place in the same nomination.
— User Z. EYLE finished in 9th place in the same nomination.
— User Zlgll finished in 3rd place in the nomination of new users.
