Wikimedians of Los Angeles/2019

This is the annual report for Wikimedians of Los Angeles, covering the time span of June 2018 to June 2019.

The user group promotes and coordinates the use of Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects constituents in and around the Greater Los Angeles area, with a focus on supporting the local activities of the Art + Feminism project. For the period of June 2018 to June 2019, the user group supported the following activities:

• May 18, 2019: Informal LA usergroup dinner meetup with WIR founders Rosie Stephenson-Goodknight and Roger Bamkin at Momed in DTLA. 7–9pm.
• May 17, 2019: Gender equity editathon at UC Irvine. 10am–4pm.
• March 31, 2019: Art+Feminism Meetup at the California African American Museum (Exposition Park). Focus: Women artists in CAAM's collection. 1–4pm.
• March 17, 2019: Art+Feminism Meetup at LACMA (Miracle Mile). Focus: Women+Design+Craft. Noon–5pm.
• March 10, 2019: Art+Feminism Meetup at the Hammer Museum (Westwood). Focus: Women+Film+Media. Noon–5pm.
• March 9, 2019: Art+Feminism Meetup at the Vincent Price Art Museum (Monterey Park). Focus: Latinx Women + Non-Binary Artists. Noon–4pm.
• March 3, 2019: Art+Feminism Meetup at the ICA Los Angeles (DTLA). Focus: Women+Comedy. Noon–5pm.
• February 24, 2019: Wikipedia Day LA 2019
