Using BAGLAMa or GLAMorgan for tracking Impact
editWe want to demonstrate the impact of this campaign in terms of bringing content to readers on the platforms.
Moreover, as you run local contests or campaigns as part of WPWP you may want to set targets or goals (like you would in a content drive).
Choosing BAGLAMa2 vs GLAMorgan
editUse Baglama2 when you:
- Are starting before the end of a month
- Plan to be tracking the category for a long time
- Need to collect data over a window of time for historical data for future (pageviews are calculated based on where images are at the end of that month)
- Don't need a "rapid" update for the data
Use GLAMorgan when you:
- Want to start tracking immediately
- Do not need to collect historical data (page-views are calculated using where images are currently at -- likely inflating historical pageviews)
- Want to update more frequently than once a month
Tracking table
editWe encourage organizers to log categories that you are specifically sponsoring as part of a local contest or activity. The organizing team will update the table for all categories specifically identified by organizing communities for the campaign.
