Wikipedia Workshop at Village Chautala, Sirsa

An interactive workshop on Educational Awareness and Wikipedia education was organized on May 29, 2022 at Govt Girls Senior Secondary School, Village Chautala District Sirsa, State Haryana (India) in collaboration with Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti (Haryana). This event was a part of The Wikipedia and Education program.

Objective

The sole objective was to spread awareness especially among the educated youth about Wikipedia as a reliable source of information. It was also intended to encourage volunteer participation in editing by sharing fundamental tools and methods.
