Wikipedians of Slovenia User Group/Reports/2018-2019

This is the 2019 annual report for the Wikipedians of Slovenia User Group. Events from the end of 2018 when the User Group was formed are added for convenience.

Activities

2018

• 2 November 2018: founding meeting (see the report, in Slovene)
• 4 November 2018: submitted an application for official recognition
• 14 December 2018: gained official recognition

2019

Announcing Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 winners

• 6 May 2019: Jernej Polajnar participated in the conference "Open Knowledge Day", presenting Wikimedia's projects and community in Slovenia
• 16–17 May 2019: Two members participated in the conference "Societal and economic aspects of the use of digitalized cultural heritage in Slovenia", talking about the import of the Slovenian Registry of Cultural Heritage and planned activities around it.
• september 2019: Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 in Slovenia
• 24 October 2019: Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 awards ceremony, in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Institute
