This is the workflow for publishing Wikizine editions.

Monday

(all days): Check emails with Google alert on "Wikipedia" and fill appropriate sections for this week's regular and talk edition.
(all days): Check blog aggreagators: Planet Wikimedia, Chapters Planet, Open Wiki Blog Planet for this week's regular edition.
(all days): Follow foundation-l and add news if something important is ongoing for this week's regular edition.
(all days): Check Meta for this week's regular edition.
Check for birthdays of Wikimedia projects and ask particular projects to write something about them. Note that edition of this Wednesday should cover next 7 days (Thursday-Wednesday) and that it should be left at least 7 days to editors to write something about their project. Thus, today we are asking for two news editions in future. If today is September 19th, then we are asking texts for the edition of October 5th, which means that the time covered should be October 6th-12th.
