The episode is famous for inciting a panic by convincing some members of the listening audience that a Martian invasion was taking place.

Hey, I'm logged into the Mastodon and I made a few edits to make the sentence a little less clunky, to remove typos, and to clarify the info (November 17 isn't the anniversary of Fireman Sam, just the anniversary of its airing on BBC1). Here's the text that is currently posted:

In general I think it's best practice to use hashtags sparingly in text (I don't mind them as much after the sentence, so I kept #australia #australianhistory and #publicradio the way you had them). Farsi Wikipedia reaches 1 million articles

Volunteers have built, contributed, protected and loved this wiki for the past two decades, providing free knowledge to more than 130M Persian language speakers.

Persian Wikipedia is being viewed by around 30M people monthly and has had 350M page views every month while only ~1,500 active editors and ~35 admins have been keeping it alive and protecting it from all types of harm.

The 29th March 2017 was the last time everyone's favorite postman picked up his van with his cat Jess to deliver letters and parcels across Greendale.

Plus 12 specials, a film and a spin-off series.
