Affiliate-selected Board seats/2016/de
The 2016 affiliate-selected Board seats process took place from 7 February 2016 through 8 May 2016.
The successful candidates were Christophe Henner and Nataliia Tymkiv.
Prozess
The process is governed by the resolution adopted by the Wikimedia chapters and thematic organizations.
The election facilitators for 2016 are Chris Keating, Laurentius and Bluerasberry. They are responsible for overseeing the process and are happy to answer any questions. Pundit is the board liason for the process.
Key dates:
- Nominations were open from February 8 to March 8; see the Call for Candidates and Nominations pages. Community members may ask questions of the candidates.
- Votes have been cast from March 24 and May 7.
Current Board of Trustees
The affiliate selected board members will be replacing the outgoing Frieda Brioschi and Patricio Lorente who have not put themselves forward as candidates this time. Patricio Lorente served two terms of two years as an affiliate selected Board seat.

Die Wahl fand nach dem Präferenzwahlsystem statt, was bedeutet, dass die Stimmen zwischen den Kandidaten neu verteilt wurden, um das endgültige Ergebnis zu erhalten. In der neunten Runde wurde der letzte Platz, nachdem Christophe gewählt war, zwischen Nataliia (16,09) und Siska (9,91) vergeben.
