२०१६ संबद्ध-चयनित बोर्ड सीटों की प्रक्रिया ७ फरवरी २०१६ से ८ मई २०१६ तक हुई।
सफल उम्मीदवारों में क्रिस्टोफ़ हेनर और नतालिया तिमिक्किव थे।
प्रक्रिया
इस प्रक्रिया को विकिमीडिया अध्यायों और विषयगत संगठनों द्वारा अपनाए गए प्रस्ताव द्वारा नियंत्रित किया जाता है।
The election facilitators for 2016 are Chris Keating, Laurentius and Bluerasberry. They are responsible for overseeing the process and are happy to answer any questions. Pundit is the board liason for the process.
Key dates:
- Nominations were open from February 8 to March 8; see the Call for Candidates and Nominations pages. Community members may ask questions of the candidates.
- Votes have been cast from March 24 and May 7.
Current Board of Trustees
The affiliate selected board members will be replacing the outgoing Frieda Brioschi and Patricio Lorente who have not put themselves forward as candidates this time. Patricio Lorente served two terms of two years as an affiliate selected Board seat.

Result
The successful candidates were Christophe Henner and Nataliia Tymkiv. A total of 40 affiliates (including 39 chapters and the sole Thematic Organisation) voted.

The election was conducted under the Single Transferable Vote, which meant that votes were redistributed between candidates to come up with the final result. In the 9th round of voting the final place, after Christophe was elected, was between Nataliia (16.09) and Siska (9.91).
