Welcome to the CA Youth Community
CA Youth Community
CA Youth Community is an initiative that holds quarterly meetings, focusing on creating new opportunities for young editors and Wikimedia members from the Central Asia (CA) region, and sharing experiences and best practices.
Additionally, it aims to build a peer support network for all young Wikimedians in the region. Everyone is welcome to attend the regular meetings.
At this stage, the community is in the process of growing and developing its activities. In the future, we plan to organize in-person events and strengthen cooperation among young Wikimedians in the CA region, as well as collaborate with international youth networks like Wikivibrance.
Goals and Objectives
edit- Establish and support student WikiClubs in higher education institutions across the Central Asia region, helping them to grow and become active contributors to Wikimedia projects.
- Foster regular exchange of ideas among young people from the CA region and organize regional WikiCamps to bring them together for learning, collaboration, and networking.
- Hold online meetings every three months to update goals and tasks, monitor progress, and ensure continuous development of the community
