editTo provide the sum of all human knowledge to everyone in the world for free is the ultimate goal of Wikipedia. The concept of free knowledge is showing its impact to different parts of society. Speakers from various sectors will be invited to share their views.
Speaker
edit- Ip Iam Chong[1] is currently an assistant teaching fellow in the Department of Cultural Studies[2] at the Lingnan University[3]. He is one of the founders of InMediaHK[4], an online independent media. He is also one of the propellants of Creative Commons and copyleft movement in Hong Kong.
- Zunix Ling is the founder and chairman of the Opensource Application Knowledge Association (OAKA)[5], one of the leaders in the open source movement in Hong Kong. He has been an active member in the open source community for nearly 10 years.
