To help with more translations for this year's banner, I've already copied last years banners (link for translations).

NB: securepoll link, landing page link, etc still need to be updated in the banners. Translators would like to get an early start in translations.
Both banners still need a script review before going live, would you be able to do this @DerHexer? Ciell (talk) 08:50, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are no scripts in the banner right now. —DerHexer (Talk) 23:35, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @DerHexer! And the style is up to date as well? Ciell (talk) 18:15, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ciell: I'm not sure what you mean. It's not my banner, and if the WMF (@MPossoupe (WMF):) is okay with the style, I'm also fine with it. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 17:58, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Campaign is now also ready here. @MPossoupe (WMF) Since the voting eligibility is quite complex, the banner will be shown to all logged in users, even if the are not eligible for voting at the moment of the elections. Ciell (talk) 18:47, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, @Ciell and @DerHexer,
It's ok if shown to all logged users. Also regarding the style, same as the one of last year, banner is good to go.
Thanks

Hi @MPossoupe (WMF), thanks for the review.
From our side we are still waiting for an updated landingpage link and securepoll link. If my memory serves me right (and please correct me if I am wrong!) we encountered some problems with especially the latter in last years elections, so it might be wise to set this up in time and test before the banner goes live. Ciell (talk) 09:33, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ciell,
The landing page will be this one: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_elections/2022/Community_Voting
From there, voters will have to click on the button to land on the voting page.
Let me know if there is something else we can provide.
Many thanks

Hi @Ciell and @DerHexer,
The community vote period has been changed. New dates: 6th 16th August 2022 → 30th August 2022.
Can you, please, adjust the campaign accordingly?
Many thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 08:46, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MPossoupe (WMF): 30th August 23:59 UTC? That's how I changed it (with start time 6th August 0:00 UTC). Wikimedia_Foundation_elections/2022/Community_Voting doesn't seem to be up to date. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 11:18, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think @MPossoupe (WMF) might have meant 16th? Ciell (talk) 16:29, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's not pretty clear how they want it to be changed, tbh. ;) —DerHexer (Talk) 16:43, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ciell @DerHexer,
my bad, it is from 16th August at 00:00 UTC to 30th August 23:59 UTC.
Sorry for the confusion.
Many thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 17:00, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, fixed to 16th. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 17:09, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 17:17, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @MPossoupe (WMF): just to be clear, you do not want the banner to have a direct link to the SecurePoll (for instance under the blue "vote now" button), like we had last year? (preview of the banner now) Ciell (talk) 14:37, 6 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ciell,
Yes, correct. No direct link to securePoll. Clicking on the button will redirect to the community voting page.
I have a look at the preview, the link on the button is correct.
Many thanks, ⁣

Hi @Ciell @DerHexer,
As per the announcement from the election committee on Wikimedia-l, the voting period has been delayed.
Voting opens on August 23 at 00:00 UTC and closes on September 6 at 23:59 UTC.
Can you please, once again, update the campaign accordingly?
Many thanks for your help
MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 16:28, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @MPossoupe (WMF), yes, I noticed the email. Will you notify all the translators as well please? They will have to change the texts and I (we) will have to approve all again. Ciell (talk) 19:13, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I take photos of the European Championships for Wikipedia and won't be available much until its end (22 August). —DerHexer (Talk) 21:30, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@DerHexer: you mean in case we need help for last minute trouble shooting? Noted, thanks! Ciell (talk) 16:54, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ciell,
yep, sure we will request the translation update.
@DerHexer, enjoy your photos session MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 11:30, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ciell,
Just pinging to ensure we have the CN banner ready for tomorrow, opening of the community voting.
Many thanks for your help
MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 12:32, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is. I'll turn it on with my first cup of coffee, so I can have an eye out. Ciell (talk) 17:14, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and @MPossoupe (WMF), I've set the translations to go live (there is a bug that this has to be done manually by a CN admin every time), but Czech, Hausa, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Ukrainian have not been updated yet. Ciell (talk) 17:19, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks @Ciell. Do the translations that have not been updated block the others completed translations to rendered? Pinging @DBarthel (WMF).
Thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 17:26, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, *I think* they will see the previous text of the banner in their respective language. Untranslated languages see the default English text. Ciell (talk) 17:28, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Thanks @Ciell MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 17:31, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Morning @Ciell, thanks for activating the banner! One of my colleague reports that the pt banner uses 2021 message: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:P%C3%A1gina_principal
Possible to have a look? Many thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 11:56, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @MPossoupe (WMF), that's strange, the translations tell me this 2022 is used for Polski. Can they share a screenshot, or more specific information about this? What happens when they click on "Help with translations"? How did they see it was the 2021 message? (Because indeed we do use the same wording as we did last year.) Ciell (talk) 12:00, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ciell, it is Portuguese (pt-br). The links on the button and on the text are good. MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 12:09, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is the current translation for pt-br... I need additional details, preferably a screenshot as well, before I will be able to reproduce and see where this error comes from. Ciell (talk) 12:37, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Or, I have switched it off for pt-br. What do they see now? Ciell (talk) 12:46, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, @Ciell. I have them to check and confirm. Will let you know here. My colleague is going to provide a pt translation so that we can use it instead of pt-br one. Once ready will let you know so that we can test again. Many thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 13:44, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ciell, We now have a pt translation with status "ready". Can we now switch it on pt and check?
Many thanks for your help MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 18:39, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, here is a screenshot @Ciell
Thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 15:21, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @MPossoupe (WMF) I have not yet had time to work on this campaign today and did not turn on pt-br again, nor processed any new translations (will try to get to that tonight).
So: is this a screenshot of today? Because that could mean there is different bug at hand. It would be valuable to not only see the banner but also (at least) the URL address in the screenshot. This is not me requesting proof (I believe your colleague!) but I need more information to track the source and fix the problem, or file a bug report for the developers if I cannot help. Ciell (talk) 17:57, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, @Ciell. I don't succeed to see the pt banner for now. Neither does my colleague. Will share a recent screenshot if we see it.
Many thanks MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 20:59, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, that means things are okay, since I turned off the banner for pt yesterday. Ciell (talk) 21:08, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MPossoupe (WMF): please let me know if the text is updated for you and your colleague now! Ciell (talk) 21:14, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ciell, confirming it is fixed now.
Many thanks
MPossoupe (WMF) (talk) 09:12, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the confirmation! Ciell (talk) 09:25, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please, temporarily stop the banner. In 57.6% languages, the end vote date is wrong. More about. @Ciell and MPossoupe (WMF): Info ping. ✍️ Dušan Kreheľ (talk) 00:24, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this list @Dušan Kreheľ, this is actually very helpful!
Looking at your information, they all are community generated translations, not the one that were provided by the translations team before the start of the election period. I did not stop the banner, but did decrease the diet and have reached out to others to help me find why this banner is somehow connected to the 2021 election. Ciell (talk) 09:29, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Dušan Kreheľ: all errors should be fixed now. Thanks again! Ciell (talk) 19:55, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
