What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
editDescription - Competition Czechoslovakia is one of the annual competitions hosted by Wikimedia Czech Republic. It is focused both on experienced editors and people who never edited before. During the challenge, we teach Wikipedia users who are interested in the topic how to edit. People can also upload photos to participate.
Metrics - quantitative: Number of articles and pictures uploaded, number of participants; qualitative: jury will pick the articles that are "articles of the highest quality, particularly beneficial for Wikipedia".

Discussion
editWe are aware that this banner conflicts with Wikipedia Asian Month 2024. Competition Czechoslovakia 2024 banner should be more prominent during the conflicting period. Thank you. --janbery (talk) 10:47, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
Central Notice admin comments
edit- @Janbery: Thanks for the good preparation of the campaign. You can find the campaign setting and banner (preview) here. Before I enable the campaign, I need your approval and ping.
- We cannot program a break into the settings, but we can switch it on again. Can you please remind us with a ping after the first term?
- I'm getting an error in the preview because the banner is loading an external Montserrat font. Is this needed? Can we use a different font instead?
- For the correlation to the other campaign (which I will likely create later today) we have a couple of options: e.g., we can change from 50:50 display to any kind of percentage. But we can also let the 3 displays per 2 days standard setting (can be changed upon your request) of the primary campaign complete first and then show the other campaign (which would be adapted by different priority levels but at a 100 % display for each when they run). What do you prefer? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 16:24, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Janbery: Did you have a chance to look at these things? I will be pretty busy for the next 1.5 weeks and the campaign is set to start soon. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 21:31, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @DerHexer, thank you for the comments!
- I will remind you with a ping to turn the campaign on again, this works good.
- Feel free to scrap the external font, it's more than okay to run it in the default banner font.
- The second suggestion sounds good, let's put it on 3 per 2 days and then display the other banner.
- Sorry for the late reply and have a nice day, janbery (talk) 16:08, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- Done accordingly, both enabled. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 21:33, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
