edit- @Janbery: Thanks for providing the banner source. However, we cannot activate the campaign when the source code does not include a close option. I tried to add it myself from the standard banner but failed. Please ping me with an updated version of your code. Nevertheless, I created the campaign and banner (as of now; preview). Please note that for community campaigns longer than 2 weeks, local community approval is required as per the new CN guidelines. Therefore, please add a link to the notification of the local community about the campaign, thanks in advance. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 12:57, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the comment, @DerHexer. I have edited the banner code to include a closing button. Could you please confirm that it works now? I will update you with the banner runtime issue shortly. All the best, janbery (talk) 15:25, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Janbery: Yes, it worked for me, I just used the more common JavaScript call for closing the banner. I'm not sure if that has different effects. — For me, it looks good now and I could activate the campaign after you have informed the community. What is meant with the banner runtime issue? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 12:25, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @DerHexer, we wish to reduce the banner to only two weeks. Could you please enable it for the period of 2024-12-19 to 2025-01-02? Thank you, janbery (talk) 17:27, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Janbery: I've changed the campaign accordingly and enabled the banner. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 20:40, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
