It was planned and implemented in Anambra State with members of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) Anambra State Chapter, Anambra Network of Wikimedia User Group Nigeria, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and lecturers. The participants were taught how to create and improve Wikipedia articles and upload images to Wikicommons. Researchers in education are encouraged to submit their 2-page extended abstracts by March 9, 2025. The virtual event will take place on May 21-22, 2025, and is free to attend. The event was organized by associate professor Mariana Senkiv with the goal of attracting students to participate in the international photo contest “Wiki Loves Monuments” and learning about their native land.
