What: Wiki Loves Women focuses on bridging two significant gaps on Wikimedia projects – women and Africa – both in terms of content about these subjects and in terms of participation by people from these groups. The project is designed to leverage Wikipedia’s role as a global repository for the dissemination of information to achieve accessible and fair online representation of notable women in countries in Africa. In addition, the project will encourage the activation and support of new and existing editors (both female and gender-sensitised male Wikipedians) in the focus countries. What: Wiki Editoras Lx (WELx) is a feminist user group of wikimedians in Portuguese that meet twice a month since may 2019 - in person at PENHAS CO, in Lisbon, and online since march 2020 - to edit (create, improve and extend articles/ pages) about cis and trans women, non-binary people and other matters of interest. Committed to action based on anti-colonial, decolonial, anti-racist, anti-capacitist and anti-discrimination values and principles, we create and improve pages, and insert images and data to promote knowledge equity.

What: Muj(lh)eres latinoamericanas en Wikimedia is a Wikimedia User Group for women of latinoamerican countries in the wiki movement. Our scope covers almost all countries in the territory known as Latin America, from Mexico to the South Pole, except for the small territories where English, French or Dutch are spoken. Working language may be Spanish (es) or Portuguese (pt) and any other language spoken in the region. Membership is open to all people interested in supporting our mission. Women from WMF affiliate user groups, chapters and other active Wikimedians are invited to join.
