List of activities
We have a number of female users on Arabic Wikipedia and some women-related courses in Wikipedia Education program in Egypt. We will promote the prize between them and will make some advertising to attract new ones to join the competition. The Egyptian user group with local organizations will organize an editathon for participants to train them on editing (no cost is needed for this event since it is covered by our last grant). Although this Prize is targeted to Egyptian female users but any user if not female or from Egypt will be welcome to join.
Walaa Abdul Monem who is a sysop on Ar Wikipedia will be responsible for the jury. She will choose reputable sysop on the Arabic Wikipedia to be in charge of selecting the winners. Every participant will be asked to prepare a report about her/his achievements (which is a public page on Wikipedia) to be the reference for the jury and so the results will be transparent for everyone.
