Samatics/Follow up Training for Participants of Wikipedia 20 Celebration
On 15 January 2021, together with 4 other experienced editors, I organized the Wikipedia 20 Celebration at Badagry Slave Museum and Black History Museum. 39 people participated which include 28 new editors. As a 1-day event there was not enough time to train participants. Based on numerous questions being asked by the members on the WhatsApp group created to engage participants after the event, I have seen the need to organize a training to further enable these new editors to fully understand how to contribute on Wikipedia. Therefore, I will be organising a 2-day training for these new editors.
