- What worked well?
We succeed in such meanings as general impact. We feel arise of interest to WCU project, more vocalists who want to participate, more museams who want to colaborate with us, more mass media who want to write about this project and more people who would like to prepare free translatations.
- What did not work so well?
We did not achieve the target amount of audios and videos uploaded to commos due to a lot of works which are not completely free in license meaning. Mostly these are works by prominent Ukrainian composers who died after 1948 such as B. Lyatoshinsky or works translated by prominent Ukrainian poets who died after 1948 such as M. Rylski. In most cases we could not find their posterities to ask a permission from them. In some cases (such as Borys Ten`s translations) we faced with orphan works. Also some videos was not uploaded because they was not good enough.
- What would you do differently next time?
Firstly, we will aplly for grant earlier to have more time for preparations. Secondly, maybe it is time to apply some changes to contest rules in order to have more free works recorded as an outcome.
Finances
editWe accept grant money 45730 hrn, some additionaly money we recieced from sponsors for prizewinners - it was a special prize by Oksana Myronchuk (250 EUR) and additional 1000 hrn for a 3rd place in older group.
