Project is sustainable

Wikimedia Promotion in Ilesa is targeted to inform a divergent community about Wikimedia projects, this project will go a long way to document the culture and language of the host community and its environ. I previously worked with the project lead when I was a co-organizer for Wiki Campus Climate Tour in Nigeria and I strongly believe in his capacity to deliver the project.

The awareness program to the people of Ilesa in Osun State will bring visibility on Wikimedia Movement to the people and they will be able to write their stories themselves. The awareness program will also reflect the history of the land, and also notable people who are residence in the city there by having a Wikipedia presence. Partially Funded

Hello @Ogundele1 thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 1,128,500 ($710 USD). It is recommended that in future, the team applies for a Wikimedia Nigeria User Group micro-grant to ensure that the support needed for community building is provided effectively. The activities stated in this proposal, seem repetitive and the impact previous efforts are difficult to ascertain. Best of luck with your project!
