Change request

edit

@DSaroyan (WMF): et al.: Once again, I have to request an extension on the time-frame reserved for a grant of mine.

Reason for the change request.

Given a greater-than-expected workload of preparing the list of monuments, as well as a lack of time caused by matters concerning real life, I am not ready to start WLM Moldova on September 1, 2021. Just today, I finished importing the list on both Wikidata and Wikipedia (in my own userspace, for now, but I finished reviewing and am ready to move to article space). I think I can take care of organizing the contest from a technical standpoint in the remaining week, but the contest would be very rushed, and the promotion would be minimal, likely resulting in poor participants turnaround.

I would like to make use of WLM's option to organize the contest in any 30/31 days during September and October – and organize WLM Moldova in October 1–31, 2021 (instead of the agreed September 1–30).

So I would like to make the following changes to the funded grant request:

  • end date: 'December 8' instead of 'November 8'
  • in Calendar / schedule: shift the calendar / schedule a month ahead; in other words add one month to all the dates

Thank you. Gikü (talk) 22:44, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Gikü, thanks for reaching out to us. I approve both of your requests. The new grant end date is December 8 and the final report is due on January 8, 2022. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 10:00, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
