Hi, Mehman97, thank you for submitting this final report and your expense documentation! I have reviewed the documentation and sent you an email with a few follow-up questions. Once I am able to accept the expense documentation I will also be able to accept this final report. In the meantime, I have some questions and comments for reflection:

1. Congratulations on meeting all the goals you set for this grant! It was fun to see the photos from the camp; it looks like the participants enjoyed themselves.
2. Have any of the participants continued to edit Wikipedia or stay involved in the Wikimedia movement since the camp?
3. One of your goals was to increase public awareness of Wikipedia and open data and you say that you achieved it to some extent. Could you elaborate? Are there things related to this goal that you would have liked to accomplish but didn't?
4. You mentioned possibly organizing a Wiki Camp in the future for teachers. Why do you think they might be interested in or benefit from a camp?

Hi LSmith (WMF), thanks for the feedback and for the questions.

1. Yes, we held a great project.
2. Yes, we have at least five active Wikipedia editors who are currently active (see: Lukabarbakadze; Giga Doguzovi; ნანუკა2005; NikaBarbakadze; Ninoshubitidze). One of them (Lukabarbakadze) participates in our competition and has real chances to win it.
3. Throughout the camp, we explained to the participants the importance of Wikimedia projects and their importance in the aspect of open data. The WikiCamp participants are a resource that later will be able to convey to others what they learned during the camp and this is to some extent an achievement for us.
4. The camp for school teachers is important for us because teachers are agents who have direct contact with students, who are our future resource for the development of Wikimeia projects in Georgia. With the help of a camp for teachers, we can teach them wiki-technologies, and they will teach it to students. We already have this practice: for example, one of the active editors of the Georgian Wikipedia and a member of board Wikimedia UG Georgia (Jaba1977) is a history teacher at school and who actively teaches his students how to work in Wikipedia. He has his WikiClub at school.

Hi, Mehman97, thank you for those detailed answers! I'm happy to hear that some of the camp's participants are currently active and involved in Wikipedia. That's a wonderful outcome! And yes, a camp for teachers makes a lot of sense—if they learn about Wikipedia and develop an appreciation for it they are more likely to teach their students how to use it, as you have already seen.

Thank you for answering my questions about the expense documentation via email. I am now accepting this report and the expense documentation! This grant will be complete as soon as we make a decision regarding the remaining funds. The application you would like to deduct the $11.21 USD of remaining funds from is currently under review and we will post a decision as soon as possible.
