Questions about your report

edit

Dear Waqaho,

Thank you for submitting this report. I have a couple of questions for you:

  1. You say in your report that "According to the questionnaire, 78% of participants were extremely satisfied with this workshop and the remaining 22% said "satisfied". It seems that the campus tour and the library tour were especially well received by participants." Can you please provide additional information from the questionnaire results?
    1. What questions were included in your questionnaire?
    2. Though it makes sense that participants enjoyed the tours, we're especially focused on how well the event supported participants in becoming Wikipedians. Can you provide any information you received about the editing portion of the workshop? Did participants give feedback about how well prepared they felt to edit in the wake of the training provided in your editathon? Did they provide feedback about whether there motivation to contribute increased?
  1. You say in your report that "Next time, we would like to host events with online help by the veteran editors instead of inviting them from outside our city. The cooperation with the experienced editors living in Sapporo we met in this event may work well in the future." Can you say more about whom you are referring to? Were you able to connect with experienced Wikipedians from Sapporo at the event, whom you did not know before the event?

Looking forward to hearing back from you! --Marti (WMF) (talk) 17:22, 29 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
