editHello SAPigg and colleagues at YWCA Canada, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. It is great to learn that you are planning to run a Feminist Edit-a-thon to celebrate 150 years of YWCA in Canada. I reviewed your application and have the following questions and requests:
- You mentioned that you partner with Art+Feminism to organize the edit-a-thon. Will they provide the contacts for experienced Wikipedia editors who will lead the event? Do you know who they are? If yes, could you add their Wikimedia usernames to the proposal page?
- Have you already prepared a list of articles that will be used during the event? How are you planning to select these articles? Will Art+Feminism support you in preparing this too?
- You budgeted 250 USD for honorarium for 1 youth trainer. Unfortunately, this expense is ineligible per the Rapid Grant funding guidelines. We do not approve honoraria or monetary gifts for event trainers, speakers, or juries. I kindly ask you to remove this expense from your budget. You can replace it, for example, with an appreciation gift for the trainers or with any other expense which is eligible for funding.
- Please also note that cash prizes for contests or other competition winners are not eligible for funding. Please make sure not to offer any cash prizes.
- Since SAPigg has left your organization, could you please update the contacts in the probox (right sidebar)?
Looking forward to your response. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:17, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
