Hi Agbalagba and T Cells, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant report. We are glad to learn that you had an amazing Wikipedia 20 celebration with Yoruba Wikimedians. I have only three questions:

  • Do you have any photos from the celebration that you can share with us?
  • Your awareness video looks nice. Did you use it on other social media or for other occasions?
  • What tools did you use to track participants’ contributions?

Thank you for running this celebration in your community! The expense documents and final report are reviewed and accepted. This grant is now marked as completed. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 10:13, 28 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

  1. Hi DSaroyan (WMF) thanks for the feedback. I joined the event virtually as I was in Badagry to support User:Samatics first event at the Badagry Slave Museum and Black History Museum. User:Agbalagba and User:Macdanpets did amazingly well in managing the event and I have linked some of the photos from the event to the report as requested
  2. It was used on social and attracted over 26,000 viewers. It's really a very useful video and I personally think it should be reuse on social media as a promotional material in the future. Then, we can budget a substantial amount of money for its promotion.
  3. The event was more of a celebration event than a workshop or training. There were various presentations about the Yoruba Wikipedia but not one that involves direct editing of articles by participants. In general, it was a great event. T CellsTalk 12:53, 28 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
