• [1]Guillaume Paumier, continuing last week's conversation on vandalism on small wikis, suggesting that Template:Delete exist on all small wikis as a redirect to the local template, to make it easier for the Small Wikis Monitoring Project to help clean spam when local admins are few in number. Robert Horning suggested that this may be unwise because it could be too deletionist. Rory clarified that the delete template would be closed by local admins.
• [2]Yann Forget commented that the Moldovan wikipedia is under attack by vandalism and spam, and that the usefulness of the project (as well as the proposed Montenegran wikipedia) is questionable. Darko Bulatovic replied, saying that the project is by nature multicultural and multilingual, and should thus extend to all cultures and languages. Gerard Meijssen replied, noting that the project is multilingual, but that Wikipedias are for languages, not culture. Further discussion on the meaning of this followed.
• [3]David Monniaux, reported that according to an email from OTRS, the Foundation should apply to join the Combined Federal Campaign, which would make it eligible for easier donations by United States Federal Government employees. After some further discussion, Brad Patrick noted that the Foundation is not on as many lists as it should be at present, due to it not having had a complete financial audit yet.
• [4]Brianna Laugher announced that the Commons Project has over 1 million uploaded files.
• [5]Sdnyroc posted to the list a link to a newspaper article analysing differences between the Chinese language Wikipedia and the English language Wikipedia, noting that it's incorrect and disappointing.
• [6][7][8][9][10]Darko Bulatovic noted that the request for a Montenegran Wikipedia was rejected by the Special Projects Language committee for being based on a political rather than a linguistic division, asking what he could do to further advocate a Montenegran Wikipedia. Discussion continued on what constitutes a language, and the meaning of national versus linguistic divides.
