Methodology to improve User Experience
Improving the User Experience of the Wikimedia platform requires planning methods for research, design, testing, and community engagement. Diversity is needed both in designing and testing out the new and/or modified user experience (UX). For example, designers should come from both community members and professional designers. Testers should also include both technical and non-technical users.
Metodología para mejorar la plataforma de investigación UX, el diseño, las pruebas y el compromiso de la comunidad de la plataforma Wikimedia:
- Involucrar a representantes de diseñadores, desarrolladores técnicos, comunidades y perfiles de usuario en procesos de diseño, investigación y difusión de resultados de experiencias de usuario iterativas (UX) para crear conciencia y permitir una mejor toma de decisiones.
- Probar y validar la usabilidad de productos con diferentes perfiles de usuario (editores avanzados, colaboradores técnicos y recién llegados que reflejen la diversidad que buscamos).
Participación de la comunidad en torno al diseño de productos y UX:
- Informar a las comunidades sobre el estado de UX, colaborar en las necesidades y apoyarlas para que asuman la responsabilidad de ser más inclusivos abordando las barreras que impiden el crecimiento, la diversificación y la participación.
UX adaptable a varios dispositivos:
- Interfaces diseñadas intencionalmente para una amplia gama de dispositivos para que los usuarios puedan consumir y contribuir en diversos contextos.
