@Yann, we didn't add Commons to the list here as it combines gadgets from different languages, and Commons is only a one site for different languages. But to make the list complete and to include all the major projects we will include it. Thanks, eranroz (talk) 15:36, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Gadgets names

I've found at least two issues:

• Sometimes a gadget name is translated or have minor changes in naming. This batch run treating it as different gadgets (see for example wikied and wiked on Gadgets/wikisource)
• Character length limit? s:pt:MediaWiki:Gadget-EsconderCentralnoticeDoMe is linked instead of s:pt:MediaWiki:Gadget-EsconderCentralnoticeDoMeta

@Lugusto thank you for your feedback. We want this gallery to be updated periodically by bot (it doesn't work this way yet due to bugzilla:58196), so we didn't fix duplications manually as it may be overriden by the next run. However, we will provide a semi-automatic solution for duplications, so users can merge different gadgets names and keep it up to date after bot updates. eranroz (talk) 20:55, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Misnamed gadgets

Hello,

Some gadgets aren't named correctly; in Gadgets/wiktionary:

• Gadgets/HotCats → the gadget has been renamed in HotCat since months, but this has been taken into account, the link still points to wikt:fr:MediaWiki:Gadget-HotCats.
• Gadgets/-ChercheDansSousCategories and other names with a "/-": these names are incorrect, the corresponding gadgets don't exist (e.g. wikt:fr:MediaWiki:Gadget--ChercheDansSousCategories)

Automatik, the data is based on user_properties table in DB, which still contains old records. It is possible to improve the report by eliminating gadgets that don't appear in Gadget-definition. eranroz (talk) 14:16, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

eranroz : even in the past, the gadget wikt:fr:MediaWiki:Gadget--ChercheDansSousCategories didn't exist. So there is a parsing (or an interpretation) issue - it is not just a question of time -, am I wrong? — Automatik (talk) 20:09, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
