Paper here or [[somewhere else]]
editDo we develop the paper directly on this page or on another one? Guaka 15:10, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- We could develop the paper here, even though I seem to have set this up as more of a portal page than a paper itself. How about first getting some ideas (just between us or anyone else who's interested) for particular issues and then setting up a new page for an actual paper? Or if you've any burning ideas, then fire ahead. The papers are short by the way - about 3000 words - but there's nothing saying we can't develop more than one... - However, thinking about the name, if we're going to make two separate pages, the paper would probably be better placed here and the current text of this page moved to Media in Africa conference (or 2005 Media in Africa conference?) Or perhaps, simply work out the paper here and refactor as we go? Cormaggio @ 17:59, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Informed some people
editI just sent out some Wikipedia emails to people who edited the articles in Category:Africa. :) Guaka 00:17, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks :-) I'm pretty busy at the moment (and for the next month), but I´ll pop by and see if there's anything that I can work on every so often (I check Meta all the time). -- Cormaggio (can't sign - using weird Finnish keyboard)
(Un)Realistic?
editI don't know how realistic this paper is. I had originally tentatively offered to collaborate on and present this paper, but due to other work piling up, I may have to give it a miss. However, if someone else wants to work on it, I could stop by and add some info/proofread etc. Is there anyone who wants to work on this? Cormaggio @ 17:42, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
