Wikimedia Hero Magnus Manske (Q13520818) released WikiFlix this week. It works, and it is so cool!

Propose moving this content

Currently this project page is an old proposal to establish WikiFlix. Now the project exists.

We could ask major film companies from all over the world to get access to their films, so copyright wouldn't be a problem, ad here's my proposed age ratings: Everyone (No heavy content) 7+

Reopen this It may make sense to reopen due to https://wikiflix.toolforge.org/ developments. On the other hand, it may be better to open a new separate proposal for that. so copyright wouldn't be a problem Since most (or nearly all) likely would not reply and grant permissions, it would still be a problem. 12+ 13+ Why have ratings just one year separated. my proposed age ratings Likely the ratings should be imported from somewhere like IMDb instead of some new ratings.
