editI, like a lot of other Californians, am an active consumer of Wikipedia. It's often times the first step in a deep rabbit hole, for the quest for knowledge. When I saw the Wikimedia Foundation was hiring I was thrilled to apply! I thought this as an great opportunity to work for an organization that has enabled so much good for this world. I currently work with the Office IT, supporting the help desk with technical troubleshooting, as well as building and maintaining the servers and network that support the internal infrastructure of the organization.
My background in computers goes all the way back to when I was kid peering over my fathers shoulder as he worked on computers.
