Otuo-Akyampong is an Environmental Scientist, Awarding Winning Climate Change Advocate, Open Knowledge Enthusiast, Wikipedian, Teacher and Youth Activist. Otuo-Akyampong is interested in initiatives to improve vegetation cover, advance climate action and landscape restoration. He is the founder and president of Eco Warriors Movement: a youth driven and led movement that is intended to restore degraded landscape and mitigate climate change by an integrated and inclusive approach. The Eco Warriors movement provides a platform to create awareness of the current state of the environment; to reiterate the inalienable connection of humanity to nature and a call to action to restore nature and to preserve it for posterity. With over 10 years of experience in the green space, Otuo-Akyampong has co-founded other active organizations in the climate change ecosystem. Latest amongst them is the Wiki Green Initiative, which leverages open knowledge to ensure inclusion in environmental and climate information access. He is open for connection and network and ready to form partnerships intended to restore the environment and improve human life.
