About me
Kia ora,
My name is Anjuli (she/her) and I am a GLAM professional from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
I am employed as a Wikimedian in Residence Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira.
My experiences with Wikimedia platforms started by enhancing the local history pages of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Some of my areas of interest include historic buildings, contemporary artists and curators, New Zealand-migrant of colour figures and women in the arts.
I aim to contribute to the Women in Red movement as well as to celebrate my community through open access knowledge and uplifting underrepresented histories, voices and stories.
I hold a Masters of Heritage Conservation specialising in Museums and Cultural Heritage from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Design majoring in Photography from Massey University.
Residency

In September 2024 I started as a Wikimedian in Residence at Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira.
My work will continue to focus on editing Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata to disperse our Museum's research and enhance and diversify Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland local history topics.
From November 2024 to February 2025 I supervised the 2024/25 cohort of Wikipedia summer students, read more about the programme here.
