Forum? Feature Request?

edit

Dear Mr. Kramer,

is there any place where discussions about your wikipedia eclipse plugin could take place? I've found no forum in this wiki nether in the german one. I've also not found any user page of you in wikipedia. I'd like to give you a feed back about your great plugin:

You can find an english forum here: [1] and a (new) german forum here: [2] AxelCK 20:48, 13 Jun 2005 (CEST)
I'd recommand you to use one single place for discussions about your plugin. And I think the best place is your user page here in meta-wiki, cause it's central and nearest for wikipedia-users.

I'd would be a good idea, I think, to take advantage of the watchlists to reduce traffic. That means: I create a bot acount to use it with the plugin as you suggest. On the watchlist of this bootacount I place all the articles I'm working on, e.g. from which I have copies in my local repository.

When I want to update my repository, the plugin first analyses the watchlist and downloads only those articles which have changed. In the same way the plugin looks in the watchlist when I want to update an article to let me resolve a possible edit-conflict.

It seems to me, that the plugin saves every article when I upload the whole folder, even those I've not worked on.

could you contact me directly with an example from an existing wiki, so I can see if it's possible to implement such a feature? AxelCK 20:48, 13 Jun 2005 (CEST)
I don't understand, which kind of example you want to have.

Problems Up/Downloading

edit

Hi,

i am trying to get the upload/download function in your great wiki plugin to work, however, i'm always getting errors like

 File: C:/Workspaces/3.1/Platform Migration/Wiki/wpsrc/Tschau.wp
 ==>HTTP-MethodException: method failed

This might be due to login issued, but i can't tell because i'm not getting enough error output to get going.

So my real question here is, is there any way i can switch on some errorlog or any log so i can see what exactly is failing there?

thanks
