Block ID
editRe:this discussion, please tell us your block ID, so we can investigate why you are unable to edit at Commons. Although I have given you temporary IP block exemption, please use this opportunity to make your unblock request, because if I see no action by Monday morning, I will assume that you no longer require an unblock. Cheers. Green Giant (talk) 10:22, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- Green Giant, I'm having trouble using the unblock template, plus I've lost electricity several times today and yesterday. This was the info I think you were asking for:
Blocked by: INeverCry
Reason: Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by "EChastain".
The reason given for EChastain's block is "Abusing multiple accounts: User:Mattisse"
Your IP adress: 71.180.239.32
Block ID: 250124
Block expiry: 23:56, 24 July 2015
Your user name: 71.180.239.32
Is this helpful? Thanks, EChastain (talk) 15:33, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- You should be able to edit the talkpage without IPB flag. Do to blockid there is no ip hardblock. CheckUser on enwiki confirmed socking, can you elaborate a bit please what happen? --Steinsplitter (talk) 08:58, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
- EChastain I wanted to let you know I tried to talk some sense into the folk sat commons but it looks like you are going to stay blocked. Its a bad decision IMO based on zero reliable evidence and accusations but that's ENWP. I can't tell you anything there that everyone doesn't already know. I think its a net negative for the project both in terms of lost edits and showing that the commons project is just as bad as ENWP in terms of blocking editors based on the decision of one admin with no proof. Anyway, I am taking a break from commons for a while myself. I started editing there thinking it had a better environment than ENWP but this shows me its just as bad and maybe worse. Anyway good luck. :-) Reguyla (talk) 21:24, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?
editHi there,
I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. I'm interested in hearing your preferences and ideas for campaign topics!
Here’s how to participate:
- Learn more about this consultation
- Vote on and submit new campaign topics in the AllOurIdeas Survey
- Discuss campaign topics and ask questions on the IdeaLab talk page
Take care,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 03:34, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
Future IdeaLab Campaigns results
editLast December, I invited you to help determine future ideaLab campaigns by submitting and voting on different possible topics. I'm happy to announce the results of your participation, and encourage you to review them and our next steps for implementing those campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to participate and submit ideas.
With great thanks,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 23:56, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Open Call for Individual Engagement Grants

- Submit a grant request or draft your proposal in IdeaLab
- Get help with your proposal in an upcoming Hangout session
- Learn from examples of completed Individual Engagement Grants
With thanks, I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources 15:56, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
