Celebrate Women 2025 Office Hour Series/Tooling Training - slides or recording?

edit

Hi there. I was excited to see the Celebrate Women series announced. I can't attend any of the events due to their timing (3am for me!). But I was hoping the slides and/or recording of the first session might be made available quickly? I'm organising an event 7 March and would like to find out particularly what tools I can use to help. Thanks. DrThneed (talk) 03:16, 2 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi DrThneed! Thank you for reaching out. Rosie also brought your request to my attention today. I had seen your talk page message today and was working to get the requested resources ready for you. Please find the slide deck on the event page while we still work on converting and uploading the recording to Commons. The slide deck contains almost everything you would find on the recording including step-by-step processes where you need. I will let you know once the recording is ready as well. Is the said March 7 event related to the Celebrate Women Campaign? You will find the event registration tool particularly helpful, whether it is a single event, recurring event or series of events relating to the same campaign. The slide deck can help you understand how you can use event registration tool to cater for different needs. Additionally, using event registration tool helps you to promote your event on the Wikis through the Collaboration list tool. You will also find information about this tool on the slide deck. There is also the Invitation list tool that you would really love to explore. This will help you to identify contributors with similar interests as your event to invite to your campaign. You will find information about this tool on the slide deck as well. The slide deck also contains information about the new article suggestion feature of the Content Translation tool as well as Central Notice Banner that you would really find useful. On 4 March at 15:00 UTC, there will be a Programmatic training where you can learn about the Listbuilding as a Service and how you can explore it for your event. Please let me know if this helps. Happy to answer any questions or comments you may have. EUwandu-WMF (talk) 15:47, 3 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for making things available for me! 1500 UTC is 3am for me so I won't be able to attend any of the sessions live, but I'm sure the slides will be really useful. Thanks again! DrThneed (talk) 03:10, 4 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
This is totally understandable DrThneed! The recording is now available on the event page. Here, you can also find the recordings and slide deck of the Opening Session. EUwandu-WMF (talk) 13:14, 5 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
