Culture Connect Africa/AfroCuisine X AfroFestival: Request for Clarity
editHello @Edriiic,
I write to seek for clarification regarding the above competition as to whether only Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo are considered or contributions of editors from the other Nigerian language Wikipedias like Fulfulde and Tyap can also be counted as part of the contest. If they're included please indicate it in the event page under the rules where those languages are mentioned that will help relay the message that all local language Wikipedias are involved. Thank you. De-Invincible (talk) 17:44, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @De-Invincible Thank you for your message. At the moment, this contest will focus on the three core local languages—Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa. While we would love to include more local languages, we currently don’t have the capacity to support them. That said, we are always exploring ways to enhance both the inclusivity and overall experience for participants, and we believe Tyap would be a valuable addition to future edit-a-thons. We’ll definitely keep it in mind for upcoming events! Edriiic (talk) 04:05, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
