Your comments
editI strongly advise you to stay civil. I've given you options, asked questions, there is no need for any form of attack. It is fine with me if you can prove me wrong, but this is not the way forward. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 18:22, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
I am civil
editI always try to be "civil". I just don't accept that my link additions were deleted by someone - obviously without having checked my site if it is really helpful for Wiki users, searching for tourmaline photos e.g. Nothing more!
Dirk, dear, I was always told that there is "a way forward" - if I act like a kosher Wikipedian. I always (except from German Wiki) learned that that is no real way for me being freed from that Wiki "Blacklist prison". I even added two new pages on Wiki.de but that is obviously ignored by English admins. That's a clear sign for me that neutral, helpful additions don't convince some "major" admins in the U.S. to whitelist my URL, or at least stop their fight against me.

- Calling us ignorant, or other suggestive remarks you gave on the spam-blacklist talkpage is not being civil. Vsmith is a geologist, long time editor, and admin on en.wikipedia (which means that the editor has a broad trust from many other editors), who rejected the link. In the same discussion was commented on the difference on how you were adding your link and how mindat.org is used and added. I am a chemist, I do see use of the link, but your way was not the way forward. That also Vsmith rejected your link is for me a signal that the link is not deemed to be useful on en (but I may be mistaken). I have therefore asked you to discuss the link on en.wikipedia in a broader context, and I still hope you will do that. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 19:23, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
