Regarding Assembly segments wise lead of Parties -- 2024 Indian general election in Manipur

Hi FlyJet,

I noticed your update on the assembly segment-wise leads of parties for the 2024 Indian general election in Manipur. Could you please share how you obtained this data? Was it sourced from official election results, news reports, or another reliable source?

Additionally, I’m interested in finding similar data for Andhra Pradesh. If you have any information or know where I might find it, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Hi Charan! Yes, the map which I uploaded with respect to Manipur was backed by official data from the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur. You can find it here (https://ceomanipur.nic.in/result_sheet_form20).

With regards to Andhra Pradesh, unfortunately they have not uploaded the Form 20 result sheet of Lok Sabha elections 2024 as of yet. However, you may keep a track of it here (https://ceoandhra.nic.in/ceoap_new/ceo/General%20Elections-2024.html).

Which software do you use for making election results maps?

Saw your SVG maps, they are really well detailed. So just a small question if you don't mind, what software do you use to fill the assembly segments of a map. I usually use MS paint to fill them but its very blurry and low quantity and can only produce png images not SVG maps. (PS- I create them only for personal use and not for wiki publishings). So hope to find your help.
