MassMessage timestamp
editHi, I'm reaching out to you because you've used Special:MassMessage here in the last couple of months. In phab:T270435 there's a discussion about how to be able to use MassMessage when using the new "Page to be sent as a message" function, which would require an easier way of adding a timestamp. My suggestion is to add it automatically, since MassMassages are going out to discussion pages of different kinds, and should be timestamped. If you have a workflow where you don't want your message to be timestamped, please let me now on my talk page or in the Phabricator ticket. /Johan (WMF) (talk) 14:18, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry for not responding earlier. I use Special:MassMessage 10 times a year to send out Wikimedia Netherlands' newsletter. I think automatically adding a timestamp is fine as long as it doesn't adversely affect formatting and delivery. Germien Cox (talk) 12:07, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

- First of all, apologies for taking so long to reply. By Wikimedia Netherlands I mean the chapter Wikimedia Nederland. Could you perhaps give me a little more clarity on what you propose with regard to linking to my local pages? Wikimedia Nederland does not represent language wikis, but support volunteers in the Netherlands and work to create an environment where volunteers and organisations work together to bring together and disseminate free knowledge. - Ja, nl.wikibooks staat op deze lijst.
- Mediawiki is overgegaan op HTML 5, zie de tag
