Desysoping admins answer

edit

First, administrators on the Croatian Wikipedia does not everyone know about copyright, there are IP blocks after the first vandalism, blocking the IP address of a long, long after the user has gone to Wikipedia. When you try to edit controversial articles administrators always rollback the user edits to edit their own changes and then locked articles. Administrators every user who works on the biased articles declare the vandals and blocks permanently there. Administrators do not accept criticism from other users. There is no way to reconcile blocked users on the Croatian Wikipedia and administrators. --Kolega2357 (talk) 10:15, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

What you describe: Using the administrators right to rollback users and then block the user and protect the page is abusive use of administrators rights. Admins may not use their rights to decide what is wrong or wright, especialy not in articles that are disputed. Blocks can only be performed by admins who are not involved in the dispute and the admin usualy can decide to block a misbehaving editor or the article but usualy not both. Please look for violations of that kind, where the edit just represents an additional or differing view of the subject, the user then is blocked because of vandalism indefinitely or for several weeks and the article protected by the same admin and the admin has repeatedly edited the same article or edited while it is blocked (exept for edits that don´t affect the content as fixing a link or spelling errors). We need difflinks. Please post these cases on the discussion and give a short comment of what the editor did and what adminstrators did. Best thing is to provide three cases within the last months for each admin to get him desysoped if there is a recognisable pattern of abusive use of rights.

Next thing to check is the aktivities of checkusers. Cases of publishing real names? Even vandals are protected with their personal informations. Do checkusers document in public what they are doing? Abusive use of checkuser rights is very serious. It may not be used for hounding users or blocked users. Do checkuser also block users? Even one case of abusive use is enough to remove checkuser rights and admin rights permanently.--Giftzwerg 88 (talk) 11:30, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
